Playing Old Version Till the Crysis Warhead is released
With just a few more days to go before the Official release of the much awaited Crysis Warhead Game, the hype surrounding it is making the wait all the more longer. Well for those of you who have played the earlier crysis versions i can understand your eagerness, and for those who are yet to play it i would advise them to first play the old crysis game to get a feel of the crysis series. I am spending my time playing the earlier versiona and sort of getting into the groove to play this much awaited game. I am re-instating the various features of the Crysis Game below.
Crysis the PC game has many great features and these features are what make this PC game extremely fun for the gaming generation playing these games. Here are some of the features in the Crysis PC game:
Crysis PC Game Feature Environment Changes: In most PC games the environment of the game will be the same the entire time this is not true when playing the Crysis PC game. Environment changes in the Crysis PC game does affect the way people play one of the effects is extreme cold and another no gravity at all both of these effect the way a player will play the Crysis PC game. This is an innovation that no other PC game has brought to the table a great reason to check it out.
Crysis PC Game Feature Choose Your Own Stat Gain: When playing older PC games you would gain stats each level you grew, the stats where not something you would choose but something that game would choose. This is no longer the case with the Crysis PC game you get points that you can choose to use in the stat of your choice this allows for better game play and stronger characters in the Crysis PC game.
Does this sound like a game you would like to purchase you just don’t know the price? Well the price is only $36.99 which is a good price and less money then I spent when purchasing one of my halo costumes for $59 for the Master Chief Deluxe Halo costume so pick up this great PC game for your gaming enjoyment and add this to your crysis warhead series.
Crysis Warhead Goes Gold Now
Crysis Warhead has gone gold? A package of both the Crysis Warhead and the Crysis War are now being shipped to stores in Europe and North America. Although it will get to American 2 days after it arrives in Europe, the Crysis community is very happy to know this new information. Many players cannot wait until it hits stores where they will be able to buy the game in gold. You can evenpre-order a copy as many people are going to buy this game so the amount of copies will be limited and it may run out so pre-ordering is great. I think this news has made the community very happy to know that it will be in stores and also that they will be able topre-order a copy so they will be guaranteed a copy of Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars.

Crysis Cost $22 million to make
CEO and President of game developer Crytek said Crysis cost 15 million Euros (22 million USD) to develop during a panel about the future of gaming graphics at the Games Convention Developers
Conference in Leipzig, Germany. Yet despite the cost, Yerli maintained the game was profitable, adding, “if it wasn’t profitable I wouldn’t be able to stand here.”
In the past, Crytek was responsible for the first-person shooters Far Cry (2004) which ran on its CryEngine 1, and Crysis (2007), which rand on its CryEngine 2. Crysis Warhead, another first-person shooter with ties to Crysis and also built with CryEngine 2, is being readied for release this September.
Yerli gave no word on what other titles the company might produce between now and 2012, when he believes the studio’s next engine will be ready and a new generation of consoles will be available.
Crysis Warhead Release Date: September 16th
It appears we will get to take Crysis for a test driver very soon, Sept. 16th to be exact provided there are no delays in shipment or production.
Electronic Arts has announced today that Crysis Warhead, the not-sequel to last year’s PC first-person shooter Crysis, will be hitting North American shelves on September 16.
By pre-ordering the game from the EA Store, gamers can save $5 off of the regular retail price, or $10 when purchasing both Warhead and the original Crysis. If you don’t care about $5 or $10, send it to me so I have the ability to purchase candy. I like candy.
Not just me that’s upset about aliens in Warhead…
So I submitted yesterdays new trailer to reddit, in the comments area I expressed my disappointment with the fact Crytek put MORE aliens into the game even after the community made it perfectly clear we didn’t want more aliens.
I just don’t understand how you can develop a game for a specific group of people and totally ignore what they are saying. It’s the same situation with the upcoming Call of Duty game which is being based on WWII even after everyone and their mother wanted another Modern Warfare game. Then to top it off, when Crysis sales are “disappointing”, they blame it on piracy. Piracy IS NOT the problem, the problem was bad game play, period. Amazing graphics only get you so far.
You wanna know what would be an amazing success? A game like BF2 or COD4 running on the cry engine.
But seriously guys, come on with this crap already. We don’t want to fight aliens, what’s so damn hard to understand? I’d rather fight giant lizards and spiders than aliens. If you’re going to try and force your users to fight aliens, why not ATLEAST try and make them organic looking? I mean, the aliens you put in don’t even look alive, they look like F’ing robots.
Whatever, don’t go crying about piracy if Warhead doesn’t meet your sales expectations.

New Crysis Warhead Trailer
Not much gameplay action, just a little teaser ;[
I also notices aliens in this trailer. Why on Earth did they put MORE aliens into Warhead? I have seen so many complaints about the origional Crysis, one of them being about the aliens. Here we go again…
Work to begin on CrysisWarhead.net
I’ve put this project off for long enough now, it’s about time we get to it. During the next couple weeks I will start making more posts and working on the forum to get new members. CrysisWarhead.net is about to come to life ;]
EA to build “Warhead Computers” made specifically to run Warhead?
Seems kind of weird to me, but here’s the rumor:
At Electronic Arts’ Comic-Con booth today, an EA rep mentioned that the company plans to market pre-built PCs in conjunction with the release of Crytek’s upcoming PC-exclusive shooter Crysis Warhead. The idea seems to be to try and circumvent some of the intimidation that exists for gamers who are either new to high-end PC gaming, or have been out of the scene for some time, and reassure them that it is not prohibitively expensive to acquire a machine that can tame something like Crysis and its followup.
Apparently, the rigs will come in various configurations, which will correspond to Crysis Warhead’s levels of graphical detail, with a likely price range being $600-$800 (I doubt EA will want to market a machine that meets only the game’s minimum spec), and they will probably be named accordingly–the Crysis Warhead Performance PC, and so on.
I like the idea of Electronic Arts looking for ways to make the PC platform more approachable, and this idea is sound–buy this PC that says Crysis on it; it’s designed to run Crysis, and you know that if it plays Crysis it’ll play anything else on the market. I was also impressed that EA had no less than three PC exclusives–Crysis Warhead, BattleForge, and Warhammer Online, and other games on display like Mirror’s Edge and Dead Space are in development for PC as well–in its booth at Comic-Con, a mainstream show if there ever was one.
As the rep also mentioned to me, EA’s own internal analysis indicates the PC market is growing–publishers just have to learn how to capitalize on it.

Brand new gameplay trailers for Crysis Warhead!
So Crysis has put out a new trailer, and it’s actually of gameplay this time instead of just some stupid mini-movie. The driving gameplay redefined looks improved in my opinion, I remember driving in the first Crysis was really hard and awkward.
Another thing I noticed when watching this trailer is that at about the :40 second mark, the machine running the game starts to lag and get choppy when the battle intensifies. Crytek already said Warhead will be able to run on mid-level PC’s, so it would be interesting to know what kind of machine was running this. In all fairness, the lag could have very well been caused by FRAPS or whatever game cam they were using. I usually don’t have that problem when using FRAPS, but who knows.
